The Wincell Insulation Group – located in the Taixing Economic Development Zone in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently honored as one of the fifth group of industrial product green design demonstration enterprises announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The ministry's evaluation aims to select model enterprises that are superior in their green product designs and manufacturing.
Focusing on the insulation and energy-saving industry, Wincell has incorporated sustainable green development into its overall development strategy.
The company is said to have created a new pattern of energy conservation and carbon reduction development through green technology, products, manufacturing, energy, and the supply chain.
Through technological innovation, it has improved energy utilization efficiency and saved resources.
The three levels of gel foaming technology that the company developed can reduce thermal conductivity and vacuum water absorption – achieving energy savings of about 25 percent compared with conventional technology.
Moreover, the company has established an innovative carbon reduction and intelligent insulation platform to help it achieve its goal of realizing energy-saving.
