A signing ceremony for a planned semiconductor-grade materials plant took place recently in the Taixing Economic Development Zone in Taixing city, located in East China's Jiangsu province.
With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($69.91 million), the plant is being jointly funded by Sieg Technology Co Ltd based in Shanghai and Jiangsu Meilan Chemical Group in Taizhou. It's projected on completion to generate an annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan.
The FFKM and PFA materials to be produced there will mainly be used in the semiconductors, human healthcare and aerospace fields – providing resources that scarce worldwide. Its implementation will reportedly break the monopoly currently held by other countries in FFKM and PFA products in China.
