Taixing Port Group, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, says it will make dedicated efforts to contribute the port's strength to the high-quality and comprehensive transformation of local State-owned enterprises.
Moreover, the group will actively bolster innovation and reforms in the port's industries, forging new core growth drivers through digital reforms. Efforts will include promoting a "5G+smart port" application, building a shipping big data center and more.
Zhou Xiaozhu, group chairman, said it would step up moves by its docks towards their intelligent development and the shift of the port's supply chain from "singularity" to "diversification", thereby opening up new growth opportunities for port development.
The company plans to build an industry supply chain around its main business and explore new development models in terms of industrial distribution patterns.
Zhou said that this year the group will realize comprehensive development, based on undertaking key tasks for financing empowerment, project guarantees and asset operations.
This would be done in addition to adhering to the development of port logistics, warehousing and trade, grains and oil processing and investment and construction.
On top of that, the group will move to integrate current subsidiaries into its single operational management company through resource integration, vertical restructuring and mergers and acquisitions.
