A conference on the development of the electronic chemical materials industry was held in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, on April 16.
Nearly 200 members attended, including representatives of members of the China Electronic Chemical Materials Alliance, as well as experts and representatives from related fields such as the semiconductors, new displays and new energy sectors.
Lu Jin, executive deputy secretary-general of the China Electronics Materials Industry Association, said electronic chemical materials were the key foundation to supporting the development of the electronic information industry.
Liu Wenrong, mayor of Taixing, said the Taixing Economic Development Zone was the biggest fine chemical industry base in China, with abundant resources of organic raw materials and intermediate products.
In recent years, Taixing has made electronic chemical materials a key focus for its industrial upgrade. It's also promoted the leap forwards of traditional fine chemicals to the electronic grade and to special grade high-end fine chemicals through a "one enterprise, one policy" approach, Liu added.
An unveiling ceremony also takes place at the conference for a fine chemical industry talent base, co-developed by the Taixing zone and the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. [Photo/WeChat account: txfabu]
