The roll-out of major construction projects in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, is being accelerated. That's in the wake of the establishment by the city's data bureau of an innovative service model that integrates data and approvals.
Through the integration of real-time data sharing among various government departments and more efficient approval processes, the bureau has improved the scope of its services, agency processes, communications and much more.
In addition, a project approval service person and a special service assistant agent are now available to offer projects tailored guidance and services.
In the first quarter of this year, the bureau offered efficient services to 16 major projects, with a combined investment of nearly 11.7 billion yuan ($1.61 billion).
Under the reform, a nutritional and health raw material production plant being erected by Sinochem Taixing, an innovative manufacturer specializing in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, recently received its building construction permits in just half a day.
Moving forwards, plans are for the bureau to move to create first-class government services that involve minimal approval processes, the highest levels of efficiency and the best services possible.
