In order to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, Taixing city in Jiangsu province has recently released an implementation plan to promote the technological transformation of resident industrial enterprises.
The city will implement 100 industrial enterprise technological transformation projects throughout the year and support industrial enterprises to carry out high-end, digital, and green transformation projects by revitalizing and utilizing existing factories.
According to the plan, Taixing will spare no effort to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner. To this end, it will take proactive measures to strengthen tracking of ongoing projects and serve enterprises that have already built factories and are about to start production.
Efforts will also be made to improve inefficient industrial projects, improve industrial clusters in towns and villages, and enhance the output efficiency of existing industrial land.

Taixing will provide subsidies of 5 percent, 6 percent, 10 percent, and 15 percent of the equipment investment amount for green upgrading and outdated equipment elimination projects, technological transformation projects without using new land, intelligent transformation projects, and digital application projects, respectively.
For newly recognized green factories, a maximum reward of 500,000 yuan ($69,569) will be given according to their level, and for newly recognized smart factories, a reward of 250,000 yuan to 1 million yuan will be given according to their level.
A technical support system for diagnostic services will be established, which will be purchased by the government and provided to enterprises through a third-party professional organization, offering tailored diagnosis of issues related to technological transformation.
