The low-carbon olefin extended functional materials industrial cluster in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, has recently been included in the national list of this year's small and medium-sized enterprise characteristic industrial clusters.
The industrial cluster in the Taixing economic development zone is home to 75 SMEs, including one national-level single-product champion enterprise in the manufacturing sector and 22 provincial-level specialized and sophisticated SMEs that produce new and unique products.
In the past three years, enterprises in the cluster have led or participated in the development of 43 standards and hold 434 valid invention patents.
As one of the first professional fine chemical industrial parks established in 1991 in China, the Taixing EDZ is one of the first 13 provincial-level development zones in Jiangsu province.
After more than 30 years of development, it has formed a characteristic industrial pattern dominated by low-carbon olefin extended functional materials.
