The Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu recently announced the shortlist of zero carbon (near zero carbon) factories in Jiangsu province for the year 2025, with Wincell Insulation Group in the Taixing Economic Development Zone of Taixing, Jiangsu province, making the list.
Zero carbon (near zero carbon) factories refer to the greenhouse gas emissions generated by factories during production and service processes during a certain period of time. On the basis of achieving maximum independent emission reduction, the remaining emissions are cleared or offset by carbon credits through emission reduction projects outside the factory area, ultimately achieving net zero emissions.
Wincell is an industry leader integrating research, development, production, sales and service of green thermal insulation materials such as rubber, glass wool, aerogel and environmental sound insulation and noise reduction materials.
It has always regarded green and low-carbon development as its top priority and has built the province's first nearly zero carbon factory in the insulation and energy-saving materials industry.
