The Taixing Economic Development Zone in Taixing, Jiangsu province, is accelerating the construction of key projects and striving to achieve annual targets.
The feed protein and vegetable oil refining production project of Jiangsu Xingfumen Biotechnology is speeding up construction, With an investment of 1 billion yuan ($141.17 million), the project will adopt internationally leading fully automated and intelligent production technologies.

After the project is completed, it is expected to produce 1.2 million metric tons of feed protein and 390,000 tons of refined oil annually.
Elsewhere, at the site of the new energy storage project of Sanyou Huineng (Taizhou) Technology, rows of energy storage battery compartments are neatly arranged.
"Our project mainly provides peak shaving and frequency regulation services for the power grid. When the photovoltaic project generates a high amount of electricity at noon, we store electricity from the power grid; When the power generation of other new energy sources decreases at night, the stored electricity is transmitted back to the grid," said Zhang Liwei, general manager of the company.
For the last quarter, the zone plans to break ground on eight new projects worth over 500 million yuan each and complete construction on five projects worth over 500 million yuan each.
