Taixing has outlined its primary objectives for 2026, marking the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30).
The city aims to achieve GDP growth exceeding 5 percent, with aspirations for even higher performance. General public budget revenue is projected to increase by 3 percent, while industrial sales are expected to surge by 6 percent.
To achieve these targets, Taixing will focus on five key areas. First, it will strengthen its industrial base by upgrading industries, accelerating project breakthroughs, and solidifying the foundation of its real economy. Second, the city is set to drive innovation through deeper integration of production and innovation, key sector reforms, and digital empowerment.
Third, Taixing is set to expand its openness and integration, fostering regional development advantages. Moreover, it will enhance urban and rural quality, promoting comprehensive rural vitalization and ecological conservation. Lastly, the city will prioritize people's well-being by improving social security, optimizing public services, and maintaining social stability.
With these strategic initiatives, Taixing is poised for robust growth and development in the coming years.
