Taixing in Jiangsu province released the Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Construction of the "333" Modern Industrial System (2026-30) on Feb 25, with a working mechanism for the system service team also established.
This system focuses on building three advanced manufacturing clusters by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), with annual output value exceeding 100 billion yuan ($14.58 billion) each and involving chemical new materials, modern equipment, and health manufacturing. It also focuses on tackling three strategic emerging sub sectors and strategically lays out future industrial new tracks for cutting-edge new materials, general intelligence, and biomanufacturing.
The city is also approaching new breakthroughs in project promotion, with the goal of breaking ground on over 300 projects worth over 100 million yuan each related to the above three industries.
Taixing is dedicated to forming an industrial development model that emphasizes strong support and future growth potential.
For the chemical new materials industry cluster, the focus will be on three key areas: electronic chemicals, high-performance composite and engineering materials, and new energy materials. The goal is to drive the upgrading of basic raw materials into high-end and functional materials.
The modern equipment industry cluster will focus on upgrading into ship and marine equipment, intelligent equipment, and green low-carbon equipment, while the health manufacturing industry cluster will prioritize extending into the fields of biomedicine, health food, and advanced medical devices.
The working mechanism covers six aspects, including launching a specialized implementation plan, forming a professional service team, formulating a set of precise support policies, and establishing a targeted industry fund.
