The world's largest offshore converter station, the Three Gorges Yangjiang Qingzhou Offshore Converter Station, was transported through the sea area in Yangjiang, Guangdong province on June 1.
The project, funded by China Three Gorges Renewables (Group), has a total installed capacity up to 3 million kilowatts. The project has broken six global records and will provide a continuous supply of clean and green electricity to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and China Southern Power Grid.
