Taixing in Jiangsu province has promoted the "one enterprise, one strategy" energy-saving transformation of key energy consuming enterprises, in a bid to create an efficient, clean, low-carbon, and circular green manufacturing system.
In SP Chemicals (Taixing), located in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, the energy-saving renovation of the dechlorination system of its chlor alkali plant has completed.
The renovation work replaced the original steam jet vacuum system with a liquid ring vacuum pump, solving the problem of poor stability and vacuum degree affected by steam pressure fluctuations in the original system, while achieving significant energy-saving benefits.

Taixing sees tapping into the energy-saving and carbon reduction potential of resident enterprises as the key to expanding their energy-saving space and revitalizing development momentum.
Relying on the team of experts hired by the city's bureau of industry and information technology, Taixing Jinjiang Chemical Industry in the Taixing zone has completed a comprehensive energy-saving diagnosis. This helped it identify energy consumption shortcomings, after which it implemented a targeted energy-saving renovation project for a 300,000-metric-ton acetate plant.
This year, Taixing plans to implement more than 30 energy-saving renovation projects. At present, three have been completed, 25 are accelerating construction, and two are in the process of being discussed and approved.
