The closing ceremony and project exhibition for the 2026 Jiangsu "Innovation Youth" Frontier New Materials (Taizhou) Industry Chain Competition took place on Sept 16 in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, Taixing, Jiangsu province.
After more than a month of solicitation and selection, this competition attracted 62 projects focused on new chemical materials, covering major areas such as electronic chemicals, high-performance composite engineering materials, and new energy materials.
After several rounds of evaluation and competition, 10 outstanding science and technology innovation projects qualified for the finals.
One first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and four excellences prizes were awarded. The winning project focused on the topic of thermal fortress, the last line of defense for battery safety.
Taixing Rural Commercial Bank has offered projects participating in the competition a pre-credit line of 100 million yuan ($14.91 million), supporting the transformation of project achievements and the development of business operations.
