A groundbreaking ceremony for the public combined heat and power (CHP) project, located in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, Taixing, Jiangsu province, took place on Sept 18.
With a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan ($224.06 million), the project is being developed and constructed by the zone company, Apical (Taixing) Thermal Power.
It is a crucial public infrastructure in the zone's southern area, providing reliable energy support for the zone's industrial development.
After operation, it will provide a safe, stable, and clean centralized heating guarantee for many enterprises in the zone.
