Since the beginning of this year, industrial development in the Taixing Economic Development Zone in Taixing, Jiangsu province, has showed exceptional resilience and vitality, with new projects continuously being launched and sustained momentum.
The Huide polyurethane new materials project is accelerating construction. With a total investment of 2 billion yuan ($299.72 million), it can achieve the localization and mass production of high-end elastomer materials to fill the gaps in key materials in the domestic new energy, automotive, and light industry manufacturing fields.
The high-end chemical project operated by SP Chemicals (Taixing), with a total investment of 7.1 billion yuan, started construction in March. It was added to the provincial major project list in September.
At the same time, five key projects in the zone are in the approval and planning stages, with a total investment of 3.63 billion yuan. They are focusing on high-end fine chemicals and cutting-edge new materials, accumulating momentum for the long-term development of the industry.

Since the beginning of this year, four municipal key projects have been completed and put into operation in the zone, with a total investment of 3.85 billion yuan. These cover fields such as new energy supporting materials, high-end fine additives, and green recycling supporting materials.
At present, the market share of 26 types of products in the zone ranks among the top in the industry, and 16 key new material technologies have broken foreign monopolies.
The complete industrial supporting facilities can help new material enterprises reduce their production costs, shorten production cycles, and ensure supply chain security.
