Taixing city – administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – has been pushing hard to accelerate the construction of its industrial projects in order to promote early operations.
In the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development, Phase IV of the Jiangsu Sunpower Co Ltd project completed the installation of its production equipment on Oct 14. Currently, 80 percent of its rolling and cutting equipment has been installed.
Yan Hongjun, the project head, stated that the installation and debugging of the project's fully automatic assembly line is projected to be completed in late November.

With a total investment of 3.2 billion yuan ($437.38 million), the project is expected to produce 500 million high-magnification cylindrical lithium batteries annually when at full capacity.
Elsewhere in the Taixing High-tech Zone, the Chunjin new energy vehicle parts manufacturing project, with a total investment of 520 million yuan, is also accelerating its construction progress.
"The project is planned to be put into production on the first day of 2024. It can generate annual invoiced sales of 550 million yuan after it is formally put into production," said Bu Lin, the project head.
In the first nine months this year, Taixing has broken ground on 68 projects that are worth over 100 million yuan each and have a combined investment totaling 19.9 billion yuan. It also completed 59 projects worth over 100 million yuan each during this period. These completed projects had a total investment of 18.75 billion yuan.
