The Xinghua Lizhong Water Forest, located in Xinghua city – a county level city administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – is a lush place that is home to over 100,000 cedar trees and more than 30,000 water birds.

The water forest – many of whose trees with deep roots stand picturesquely in its water – serves as a natural oxygen bar, attracting numerous visitors every summer who come to breathe in the fresh, oxygen-rich air.

Thousands of forest birds – including owls, wild ducks, egrets, black cuckoos, grass parrots and magpies – call this place home. [Photo/WeChat account: tztour]
