Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, headquartered in Jingjiang, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, saw its ultra-large ethane transport ship, ACS SP Voyager, delivered from Jingjiang at around 7 am on June 3.
The ship has a total length of 229.9 meters, a width of 36.5 m, a depth of 22.8 m, and a cabin capacity of 100,000 cubic meters, making it the largest ship of its kind in the world.
With its technical indicators, safety standards, and green performance all reaching the international top level, the ship is also the first 100,000 cu m ultra-large ethane transport ship built by a private shipping company in China.
Jingjiang is the largest private shipbuilding base and a national-level ship export base in China. The production plan for backbone ships has been scheduled until 2030. The city's efficiency in shipbuilding is also a core competitive advantage for the industry, accelerating its global expansion.
The delivery was almost two hours ahead of the original schedule, thanks to Jingjiang Border Inspection Station's proactive services and the opening of a dedicated channel for the ship and marine industry, which ensured smooth delivery.
