The Colorful Lotus Pond in Dongjin Village, Shengci town, Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, was the venue for a wonderful concert on the evening of June 20 to 21.
Ding Wuhong, a famous guitarist in Jingjiang, adapted and performed Man Jiang Hong (a classical Chinese poem), revitalizing the traditional poem with a youthful and fresh style.
The concert also featured more than 10 top domestic and international guitar artists.
The two-day concert has made the pond a popular cultural and tourism destination during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.
The night market also treated visitors during the concert, offering local food and specialty agricultural products.
"During the season of blooming lotus flowers, Shengci town attracts a large number of tourists, and tourists highly favor its unique agricultural products such as lotus leaf chicken," said Zhu Rongqi, an official from the town.
