The Jiangsu Feiyue Heavy Equipment Technology Industrial Park project, with an investment of 1.02 billion yuan ($150.88 million), broke ground in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, on July 23.
The park will prioritize two core projects: the research and development of key technologies for the new generation of ultra-high temperature molten salt thermal storage systems and the industrialization of specialized large-scale tower equipment for new energy industrial fluids. After reaching full production capacity, the anticipated annual invoiced sales from these two projects are projected to exceed 600 million yuan.
The first project will focus on the core technology for ultra-high temperature, corrosion-resistant, and highly stable molten-salt pumps. After reaching production capacity, it can produce 60 units of the new generation of ultra-high temperature molten salt pumps annually, further enhancing the localization of energy storage core equipment.
The second project will construct standardized production workshops for large-scale container segmentation, assembly, and painting, aiming to produce 1,200 sets of special large-scale energy storage tower equipment annually.
Wang Daohong, Chairman of Feiyue Group — investor of the industrial park, said that the park is a strategic layout for the group to adapt to the development trend of high-end equipment manufacturing, break away from the limitations of single pump manufacturing, meet the system needs of customers for complete sets, integration, and full chain, and promote the comprehensive transformation of enterprises from a single equipment manufacturer to a comprehensive complete set of equipment system service provider.
