Chimbusco Oil Storage & Transportation (Jiangsu), located in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, successfully completed the methanol refueling operation of a 325,000- deadweight-ton ultra large mineral sand ship at the terminal of COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) on Aug 6.

This marks a new breakthrough for the Jingjiang company in providing green marine fuel to ultra-large bulk carriers.

The operation used a mature and stable tanker refueling method and took a total of six hours to complete.

Previously, the company had completed methanol refueling operations for 16,000-TEU and 24,000-TEU methanol dual fuel container ships. The latest operation further expands the company's green marine fuel services to a broader range of vessels.

The company's services now cover 12 ports and terminals across Shandong, Jiangsu, and Shanghai.
