Xinghua, a picturesque county-level city known for its rich cultural heritage in Jiangsu province, is gearing up to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a series of exciting cultural and tourism events.
The highlight of the festivities is a lantern carnival at Lianxi Lake Park, running from Feb 1 to 28. Visitors can enjoy stunning lantern displays alongside dynamic laser shows on the lake. Folklore activities will be held during the daytime to showcase the traditional cultural heritage.
Baziqiao Street will come alive from Feb 17 to 23 with traditional lion dances, folk custom performances, and interactive cultural experiences. Meanwhile, the Jindongmen and Yinbeimen streets will offer immersive cultural tours and local culinary delights.

The Shagou Ancient Town will invite visitors to experience folk parades and authentic water town cuisine from Feb 17 to 23. Moreover, Dongluo village, dubbed the best rural tourism village, will present vibrant water stage performances and traditional crafts from Feb 18 to 22.
