As the centerpiece of Xinghua's spring cultural tourism, the 2026 Qianduo canola flower season is built around the region's agricultural heritage of the duotian, or raised-field, landscape. The event connects a variety of natural and historical attractions, integrating cultural performances, leisure experiences, study tours, camping, food festivals and displays of intangible cultural heritage.

Visitor numbers have continued to climb throughout the season. During the Qingming Festival alone, the Qianduo Scenic Area recorded more than 70,000 visits, setting a new record for the period.

The highest single-day attendance surpassed 12,000, ranking the destination among the top spring flower-viewing spots in the Yangtze River Delta.

In response to peak-season crowds, the scenic area made early preparations and coordinated efforts across the region, upgrading its services to ensure a stable, well-managed tourism market.
