The number of high-tech enterprises in Xinghua, Taizhou, has grown to 506 since 2025, continuing to rank first in Taizhou. Among them, 340 enterprises have launched or accelerated with their Phase II projects, accounting for about 70 percent.
In the Xinghua High-tech Zone, Jiangsu Shenyuan Group Co has invested about 700 million yuan ($102.32 million) in a high-speed precision wire rod production line. The resulting products are widely used in internal combustion engine valves, military equipment and other critical sectors.
As one of the first high-tech enterprises in Xinghua's stainless steel industry, Shenyuan's Phase II expansion has increased the share of high-value-added products from 30 percent to 70 percent, while opening up new growth opportunities in high-end fields such as high-temperature corrosion-resistant alloys and electric heating alloys.
Meanwhile, Taizhou Boshite Precision Casting Co, with two decades of specialization in precision casting, has evolved from manual molding to advanced processes including automatic wax injection and robotic shell making.
"Intelligent transformation is the key to scaling up production and investment. Our Phase II project must achieve new breakthroughs in efficiency," said Zhang Fengxiang, general manager of Boshite Precision Casting.
Jinlong Auto Parts Co, located in the Zhouzhuang Town Industrial Park, has achieved zero-defect mass production of precision scroll compressors for new energy vehicles, utilizing a hypereutectic high-silicon aluminum alloy technology pioneered in China.
The company's revenue exceeded 80 million yuan in 2025, marking its successful entry into the high-end supply chain of the NEV industry.
To date, Xinghua has cultivated 22 national-level "little giant" enterprises focusing on niche sectors, as well as 191 provincial-level "specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative" small and medium-sized enterprises, providing a solid foundation for the city's ongoing industrial upgrade.
