On April 17, the China (Nanjing) International Prefabricated Food Industry Expo and World Prefabricated Food Industry Conference were held in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province, which featured Taixing food.
Taixing, a county-level city administered by Taizhou in Jiangsu province, boasts diverse delicacies, especially Huangqiao shaobing, also known as sesame seed cake, and Taixing congee, also known as naked barley porridge.
At the Huangqiao shaobing booth, people were attracted by the freshly baked shaobing, which was a hit with families and their friends.

It was the 10th time for Huangqiao shaobing to attend the expo, which has served as a profitable platform to promote the food, said Zhu Changjin, an official of Jiangsu Catering Industry Association.
Huangqiao shaobing is known as a renowned snack in China and is recognized as featured food by the China Geographical Indication Industry Association.
