The main structure in phase I of the precision parts factory for new energy equipment by Jiangsu Shenyi Science and Technology Manufacturing Co Ltd was recently completed.
Located in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing city, Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, the precision parts factory is expected to begin production in July.
Construction of the provincial-level project, which has a total investment of 1.22 billion yuan ($172.91 million) and a planned floor area of 49,000 square meters, started in December 2022.
The project is expected to produce 100,000 metric tons of precision components for new energy equipment worth 1.4 billion yuan annually.
The zone had previously optimized its approval mechanism for major projects to help companies complete the construction of their facilities quicker.
