Officials from Taixing city – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – visited the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone on Oct 27 to inspect the progress being made there on major projects.
They visited a precision parts factory for new energy equipment operated by Jiangsu Shenyi Science and Technology Manufacturing Co Ltd and the Wind power intelligent complete equipment project operated by Huierxin Machinery (Taixing) Co Ltd.
With a total investment of 1.22 billion yuan ($167.65 million), Shenyi's plant has been listed as a major provincial-level project for 2023.
Since starting construction at the end of last year, the first production line of Shenyi's facility has begun operations.
When complete and at full capacity, it will manufacture 100,000 metric tons of precision components for various types of new energy equipment annually and generate invoiced sales of 1.4 billion yuan.
