High-tech lithium battery producer Jiangsu Sunpower Co Ltd, located in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone – in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently honored for its excellent practice in intelligent manufacturing.
The company's scenarios for intelligent online testing and product quality optimization were included in the list of Excellent Scenarios for 2023 Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factories, released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Oct 26.
In recent years, the company has been dedicated to creating optimal scenarios for intelligent manufacturing factories, which can help solve problems such as heavy workloads, random storage and low efficiency in manual operations.
By creating the intelligent online testing scenario, the company is said to have solved the technical challenge of non-destructive testing inside batteries.
This has avoided the problem that conventional testing methods require sampling for destructive testing or manual judgments – so the company's solution has improved the high-speed full inspection of production lines.
Overall, plans are for the Taixing zone to continue to incentivize resident enterprises to conduct intelligent and digital transformation, in order to achieve quality and efficiency improvements in the manufacturing industry.
