Three enterprise technology centers being operated by manufacturers in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, were recently recognized as provincial-level enterprise technology centers.
They are the centers being run by manufacturers Jiangsu Jieshun Electromechanical Equipment, Lapar Control Valve (Jiangsu) and Optics Vacuum Technology (Taixing).
An enterprise technology center refers to a technology research and innovation institution established by an enterprise based on market competition needs and development strategic planning.
It is responsible for conducting industrial technology R&D, creating and utilizing intellectual property rights, establishing a technical standard system, gathering and cultivating innovative talent and building collaborative innovation networks, among other things.
In recent years, the zone has adhered to the theme of "gathering strength for transformation" and has actively encouraged and supported enterprises to establish technology centers.
Currently, the zone is home to nine provincial-level enterprise technology centers.
