A delegation led by Qin Meng, vice-mayor of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province visited real estate services provider Shanghai Jinqiao (Group) on April 10.
Yan Jianbo, a secretary of the group, introduced that it had formed seven special areas of endeavor. For example, as one of the company's key development areas, its Jinding unit focused on the intelligent automotive industry, attracting leading enterprises to form an innovation agglomeration chain.
Since the launch in 2022 of a joint construction venture between the group and the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone, located in Taizhou, action had been taken to achieve organizational collaboration, resource sharing and talent co-nurturing, Yan added.

For his part, Qin said that with the opening of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway next year, the travel time from Taizhou to Shanghai would be cut to 50 minutes.
In terms of industries, the total output value of Taizhou's health industry was currently nearly 400 billion yuan ($54.73 billion) and the city boasted a solid foundation in pharmaceutical research and development, automotive parts, chemicals and new materials fields, making it highly compatible with the industrial layout of the Shanghai group, Qin added.
