Yang Qingxin, general manager of Jiangsu Sunpower, located in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone, Taixing, Jiangsu province, has led the company to grow into a leading enterprise in China's high-rate lithium battery application field in just five years.
The company has now become one of the main suppliers for replacing foreign brands of lithium batteries. "Our greater goal is to bring Chinese made new energy products to the world's highest end," said Yang.
At present, the 21700-5000mAh battery he developed is in an internationally leading state and has received many purchases from customers such as Belkin and Amazon.
Since he graduated from university in 1986, Yang has been engaged in the industrialization of lithium battery technology research and application. He spent most of his time in the laboratory for over 30 years.
In March 2015, Yang founded Jiangsu Sunpower in the zone and positioned the products in the field of power lithium-ion batteries.
Faced with the industry challenge of balancing high magnification and high energy density, Yang led his team to continuously innovate in materials, structures, and processes, breaking through core bottlenecks such as energy density, cycle life, and safety performance.
The company has developed a mature full pole ear battery product matrix, covering models such as 18650-3000mAh, 21700-4000mAh, and 21700-5000mAh.
A fully automated production line is expected to be built by 2026, achieving large-scale production. The products will be applied in high-end electric tools, intelligent cleaning appliances, high-end power banks, and other fields that require strict battery performance.
