The Taixing New Energy Industry Special Salon and Industry Innovation Integration Matchmaking Event was held in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone, Taixing, administered by Taizhou, Jiangsu province, on Oct 30.
Chen Li, vice-mayor of Taizhou Municipal Government, said that the new energy industry in Taixing has always maintained a steady and positive momentum, with a solid industrial foundation in areas such as wind, solar, and lithium.
He expressed hope that Taixing will take the event as an opportunity to further strengthen its industries, deepen exchanges and cooperation, and attract supply chain projects, striving to create a new energy industry cluster with distinctive characteristics and leading competitiveness.
A signing ceremony for eight new energy industry cooperation projects was also held.

Industry experts and representatives discussed the development and future of the new energy field around key words of wind energy, solar energy, lithium, and intelligence.
During the event, experts and enterprise representatives such as Zhou Jianbin, a special professor at the University of Science and Technology of China, were hired as consultants for the development of Taixing's new energy industry. They will provide support on technology research, talent cultivation, and industrial chain collaboration related to the region's new energy industry.
On the same day, the attendees also visited top new energy enterprises in the zone such as Huierxin Machinery (Taixing), learning about situations of their technology research and development.
The zone has formed a diversified layout of new energy industries covering wind energy equipment, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic supporting facilities. It is currently home to 12 new energy enterprises above a designated size. The output value of its new energy industry exceeded 8 billion yuan ($1.12 billion), a hefty year-on-year increase of 25 percent, with a goal of exceeding 10 billion yuan by the end of this year.
