The lists of major projects and key industrial projects for private investment in Jiangsu Province for 2026 have been released, with four projects from the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone, Taixing, Jiangsu province, making the cut.
They include two major implementation projects. The first, Taizhou SDIC Biogenic Neoprotein Project, costing 2.4 billion yuan ($344.65 million), focuses on the research and production of neoprotein such as food enzyme preparations and mycelial proteins. Large-scale production capacity will be formed after reaching production capacity.
The second, Taizhou Huierxin Wind Power Equipment Project, costing 3.06 billion yuan, is expected to produce 1,600 sets of wind power intelligent complete sets of equipment a year.

Next on the list, the Taizhou Vestas Wind Power Intelligent Equipment Project has been recognized as a major (reserve) project. Invested by Vestas, a global wind turbine giant, it will focus on the intelligent research and production of offshore wind power equipment.
Last but not least, Taizhou Xinsu Industrial Machine Tool Project has been recognized as a key industrial project for private investment. With an investment of $250 million, it will have an annual production capacity of 315 internal and external cylindrical grinding machines, 60 large high-end computer numerical control grinding machines, 150,000 sets of safes and related products, and 1.9 million pistons.
