The Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing, Jiangsu province, held a major project work promotion meeting on Feb 26, ushering in a good start to the year.
The zone is gearing up to attract new projects, based on proactively connecting with key personnel in the service and other industries as well as those working in industry associations. The zone has targeted the goal of signing over 40 new projects worth over 100 million yuan ($14.58 million) each this year.
The zone will strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in terms of their technological innovation, support enterprises in digital, scientific and technological innovation, and provide policy development.
It will also support enterprises bidding to increase their capital and expand production, giving rise to more second, third, and fourth phase projects.
The zone has mapped out the goal of developing an enterprise with annual industrial invoiced revenue exceeding 4 billion yuan, another exceeding 3 billion yuan, one with over 1 billion yuan in revenue, and four enterprises each in excess of 500 million yuan, constantly expanding its industrial capabilities.
Efforts will be made to organize academic and industry conferences to bolster strategic cooperation between the zone and academic societies, associations, and universities and institutions.
