Jiangsu Sunpower, a leading lithium battery manufacturer based in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone, Taixing, Jiangsu province, has been consolidating its global market position through technological innovation and capacity expansion.
The company is a cylindrical power lithium battery leader rooted in the zone, with a total project investment of over 3 billion yuan ($438.98 million).
Its fourth phase expansion project has an investment of 950 million yuan, including the construction of new factories and the introduction of two 300PPM high-speed production lines, resulting in a 50 percent increase in production capacity compared to traditional production lines.
The fourth project was put into operation last August, with an annual increase of 195 million high-rate battery production capacity.
The company has also allocated an investment of 203 million yuan to upgrade its existing high-efficiency battery production lines. The first phase of this upgrade has been completed, resulting in an increase in production capacity to 24 million high-efficiency batteries per year.
The company collaborated with leading research teams and renowned organizations, both at home and abroad, solidifying its role as a key player in its industry.
