For thousands of years, its favorable weather, stability and harmony caused Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – to be known as an auspicious land.

The development of Hailing district has achieved historic leapfrog development over the last 10 years, according to a news conference held there on Sept 14.

Jiangyan district in Taizhou has been holding the New Parents School, a program that offers free courses to students and their parents every Saturday, since 2017.
