After reconstruction and expansion efforts, the Taixing section of the 504 Provincial Highway, which starts from the Taichang intersection to the Qiwei ferry section, is expected to open to the public by the end of October.
Taixing city – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – started the reconstruction and expansion project this year in order to improve road access conditions.
The renovated section of this project is about 3.9 kilometers long and 25 meters wide. At present, the asphalt paving of the northern part of the road has been completed, and the next stage includes road sealing and asphalt overlay work in the southern part.
The Taixing section of the 504 Provincial Highway has a length of about 35 kilometers, and passing through the city's Hongqiao town, Binjiang town, and Jichuan sub-district.
