The Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau of Taixing, a county-level city administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province, recently optimized its approval mechanism for major projects, making it possible for companies to obtain permits for different stages of construction.
Previously, companies had to wait for months to obtain a single permit for the entire construction process. With this new mechanism, the entire construction process can be sped up by two to three months as companies can begin work on a certain phase while waiting for the permit for the next phase to be approved.
Jiangsu Shenyi Science and Technology Manufacturing Co Ltd, which is located in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, is the first company to benefit from this new mechanism.
Construction of underground facilities for the company's new project is currently underway. The project is expected to generate annual sales of 1.4 billion yuan ($202.31 million) and 75 million yuan in tax revenue.
The Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau said it will be taking measures to help companies solve difficulties, promote the upgrading of agency services, and deepen the reform of the approval mechanism for major projects to enhance the city's economic development.
