Taizhou city, situated in East China's Jiangsu province, is providing more discounts and deals for tourists in a move to further integrate its transport, including air and rail travel, with its quality cultural and tourism resources, according to Xu Jing, deputy director of the city's bureau of culture and tourism.

Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport and Taizhou Railway Station on July 17 signed cooperation agreements with four cultural and tourism enterprises in Taizhou.

Under the terms of the agreements, from now until the end of 2025, tourists can enjoy ticket discounts at Taizhou's scenic spots. That's by presenting their boarding pass from Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport (valid from now until the end of 2025) or train tickets arriving at Taizhou Railway Station and Jiangyan Railway Station (valid within three days of arrival), as well as presenting their ID card.

There are 10 key scenic spots in Taizhou included in the first batch of discounts. They include the Taizhou Traditional Chinese Architecture Fengshui Culture Museum, which will have free entry. Tourists can also enjoy half-price tickets when entering the Xuezheng Shiyuan, an examination venue under China's imperial examination system in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

They can also get 30 percent off entrance tickets at scenic spots including the Wanghai Pavilion, Qinhu Lake National Wetland Park and Qintong Ancient Town, the Kouan Carved Mansion, Xinghua's Qianduo scenic area (during the canola flower and chrysanthemum seasons), Lixiahe Wetland Park, the Jindongmen historical block and Shi Nai'an Cultural Park.
