Things are on the rise in the Hengxing Science and Technology Park – located in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone in Xinghua city, in East China's Jiangsu province – which has been recognized as one of the latest provincial demonstration areas, for the high-quality development of its modern services industry.
Province-wide, a total of 30 service industry cluster areas received the honor this time, announced by the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission. The Hengxing S&T Park has also become the first provincial modern service industry cluster demonstration area in Xinghua.
That recognition is expected to provide key policy support for service enterprises in the demonstration area. Under the same conditions, enterprises in the park declaring provincial funds will be given priority.
What's more, with the gradual development of the public service platform in the demonstration area, it will greatly save the costs of its businesses, boost the incubation and growth of enterprises and improve their market recognition and profile.
The modern service demonstration area in the Hengxing S&T Park covers an area of 176 mu (11.73 hectares), with a total construction area of 180,000 square meters.
Since construction started in 2019, it has completed an operations area of 74,000 sq m, attracting more than 120 service enterprises and driving employment of more than 1,000 people.
