Xinghua in Jiangsu province held the Health Food (Agricultural Products) Supply Chain Cooperation Matchmaking and Overseas Collaborative Development Conference on April 29.
The event was designed to facilitate the advancement and international outreach of the city's health-focused food sector, focusing on enhancing its market competitiveness and global visibility.
Shao Jianfeng, mayor of Xinghua, said that his city's superior geographical conditions and natural water and soil ecology have nurtured numerous high-quality and renowned green agricultural products.
In recent years, Xinghua has focused on developing the food industry, forming a complete chain of source planting and breeding, deep processing, brand marketing, and export trade, he added.
During the event, three companies — Haoxianglai, Kerisom and NewSailing — introduced their needs, and cooperation standards. Three institutions provided guidance and lectures on overseas policies and financial support. Some local companies also introduced their core products and shared experience of going global.
