East China's Xinghua, renowned as the top county-level city in China for river crab farming and fruit and vegetable dehydration processing, is striving to enhance its "World's Fresh Produce, Made in Xinghua" brand.
In 2025, the city's composite seasoning and specialty agricultural product deep processing industry cluster was selected as a provincial-level specialty industry cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises. The cluster is currently home to 89 high-quality enterprises.
The health food industry is a main focus of the city's industrial layout. Led by top enterprises, the Xinghua Health Food Characteristic Industry Cluster has linked the processing sectors for seasonings, rice, fruits and vegetables, aquatic products and more. It has built a complete industrial ecosystem from raw material supply to final output.
In Taizhou Anjoy Food, located in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone, fish paste, the core raw material for fish balls and other products, comes from Xinghua Daze Aquatic Products, a company located next to Anjoy.
Anjoy purchases 10,000 metric tons of fish paste from Daze every year, with Daze processing 100,000 kilograms of silver carp per day.
This cooperation model not only ensures the freshness of Anjoy's raw materials, but also reduces procurement costs while boosting the development and growth of Daze.
Focusing on high-end, intelligent, green, and branded development, the Xinghua Health Food Characteristic Industry Cluster is constantly advancing toward the goal of becoming a hundred-billion-yuan cluster.
