Xinghua city's per capital disposable income increases

The residents of Xinghua – a county-level city administered by Taizhou  in East China's Jiangsu province – are doing better these days, with their per capita disposable income hitting 40,112 yuan ($5,823) in 2022, up 5.9 percent year-on-year, according to data released recently by the city's bureau of statistics.

Breaking that down, the per capita disposable income of urban residents in Xinghua reached 51,154 yuan, up 5.2 percent year-on-year and for rural residents it reached 27,638 yuan, an increase of 7 percent.

In the subcategories of per capital income, wage income hit 23,083 yuan, up 6.3 percent year-on-year; net income from business operations hit 10,269 yuan, up 5 percent year-on-year and net property income hit 1,267 yuan, up 1.9 percent.

Those improvements tracked the per capital disposable income of residents in Jiangsu province which reached 49,862 yuan last year, up 5 percent year-on-year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

The per capita disposable income of urban residents in Jiangsu reached 60,178 yuan, up 4.2 percent year-on-year and that of rural residents came in at 28,486 yuan, up 6.3 percent.
