A healthy and efficient climate microcirculation can nowadays be seen at work in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone – located in Xinghua city in East China's Jiangsu province – which is said to be boosted by an optimal ecosystem for the health foods sector that is operating there.

The Xinghua EDZ, as the key site for the city's health foods sector, is currently home to 816 manufacturers in this area of endeavor, with 131 above a designated size – those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.91 million) or more – based there.

For enterprises, a clear and rich climate microcirculation is said to be an important by-product of a healthy industrial ecosystem.

One corporate resident, a fisheries company called Daze, uses local fish heads to produce pre-prepared meals, supplying the fish bodies to restaurant chains, minced fillet to neighboring food company Anjoy and the fish bones to another plant in the zone. In addition, ingredients for the production needed by Daze also come from companies in the zone.

Daze director Zhang Yongshan said the cooperation with other companies in the zone not only saved it time in the manufacturing process, but also saved costs in terms of logistics, freezing and thawing.
