The city of Xinghua – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – will roll out a series of practical measures to create an optimal environment for the development of businesses, Xinghua Party secretary Chen Fengjian told an entrepreneurs symposium there on Aug 7.
Six entrepreneurs from Xinghua's key industries attended the symposium and talked about the difficulties and blockages they encountered in their production and operations.
"In recent years, in the face of challenges such as changes in the international situation and declining market demand, we have relied on technological innovation, as well as green and low-carbon transformation to maintain a strong development momentum," said Liu Jinlan, chief of Jiangsu Xingda Steel Tyre Cord Co Ltd.
As a manufacturer of stainless-steel products, Jiangsu Shenyuan Group Co Ltd has taken high performance special alloy materials as an important direction for it to develop into a leading international manufacturer, said Gong Yuansheng, chief of the company.
Boasting a number of development and research centers and production bases, Jiangsu Teweinong Food Co Ltd has done business with many top enterprises in its sector and has accelerated the pace towards a share market listing, said Yao Deyang, chief of the company.
Cao Wenming, chief of the Jiangsu Xinghua Rural Commercial Bank, said that as a local financial service institution, the bank would innovate its financial products, reduce fees and improve its efficiency in loan approvals, to support the growth of local enterprises.
