The 2023 China Japan (Xinghua) Food Industry Development Conference was held on Nov 25 in Xinghua city – the county-level city under the administration of Taizhou, located in East China's Jiangsu province.
The event attracted over 50 health food industry entrepreneurs and customer representatives from all over the country, as well as over 70 representatives from Japanese institutions and companies.
Chen Fengjian, Xinghua's Party secretary, said this year marked the 45th anniversary of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship Between China and Japan and the city had maintained a great relationship with Japan.
Various health foods in Japan have gained market recognition for their unique taste and strict quality control, which Xinghua wanted to learn about, Chen added.
Liu Feng, a senior Xinghua official, said that the Xinghua Economic Development Zone would provide its best services, most favorable policies and the most complete support facilities to establish a dynamic China (Xinghua) – Japan Health Food Industrial Park in the future.
During a roundtable forum, representatives conducted discussions on how to integrate deliciousness with nutrition in health food.
In addition, the zone signed cooperative agreements with Nikkei Business Publications in China and Deyond, a business consulting management firm.
