Two technology centers operated by companies in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone – located in Xinghua city, in East China's Jiangsu province – were recently honored.
They were recognized as being a 2023 Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, making it onto a list issued by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
The two technology centers are the one operated by Xinghua Jinniu Machinery Casting Co Ltd – which produces high-strength alloy steel products that are heat-resistant, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant –and the facility run by food manufacturer Mackengarten (Jiangsu) Food Co Ltd.
An enterprise technology center is a technology research and innovation institution established by a company, based on market competition needs and development strategy planning.
It is regarded as being an important carrier for enterprises to improve their independent innovation capabilities and enhance their core competitiveness.
The honor received by the two Xinghua EDZ groups is seen as being a comprehensive recognition of their innovation abilities, innovation mechanisms and leading demonstration roles.
