Top officials from the Taizhou People's Congress recently visited the Xinghua Economic Development Zone, in Xinghua city – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – on a fact-finding mission.
The delegation, which toured there on Dec 13, was headed by Zhang Yudong, director of the standing committee of the Taizhou People's Congress.
The visitors wanted to understand the urgent needs and concerns of local businesses. The goal was to help them solve their problems – improving their sense of prosperity, purpose and achievement.
Zhang visited manufacturer Jiangsu Qiliang Food Co Ltd to learn about its products and production processes.
He conducted talks with business leaders – inquiring about the problems and requirements they'd encountered in the development process and offering guidance on issues related to sewage outlets.
He called on Jiangsu Qiliang Food Co to refine its main business and be committed to its transformation and upgrading to achieve sustainable development.
