Firefighting foam manufacturer Jiangsu Suolong Fire Science and Technology Co Ltd – based in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone in Xinghua city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently honored nationally for its achievements in intellectual property, or IP.
It was recognized as a national-level enterprise in intellectual property protection and applications, in a list unveiled by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
The honor is said to reflect the company's top work in the creation, application, protection and management of enterprise intellectual property rights in its field of endeavor.
Founded in 1967, Jiangsu Suolong Fire Science and Technology Co Ltd has specialized in the research and development of firefighting technology and the production of foam-extinguishing agents for over 50 years.
Its Suolong brand of foam extinguishers has won wide recognition and has been applied to emergency rescues, national defense equipment, the petrochemicals industry, nuclear power, aerospace, shipping ports, transportation, and a raft of other fields.
The company's products have been sold to over 60 countries and regions, including the US, Italy and Singapore.
Moreover, the company has kept close relations with the Tianjin Fire Science and Technology Research Institute at the Ministry of Emergency Management and has obtained over 60 core patented technologies.
